KAX mass airflow sensor installation steps:
1. Turn off the car first, then confirm the installation position of the mass airflow sensor, which is in the tube of the intake pipe, after the air filter element and before the throttle.
2. Reset the ECU data and restore it to the original state. Remove the negative wire of the car battery to ensure that the car circuit is powered off (if there is no sound when pressing the horn of the steering wheel, it proves that the power supply of the car has been disconnected).
3. Replace and install. Remove the screws and plugs of the mass airflow sensor, and remove the faulty mass airflow sensor and replace it with a new one. (Before installation, please check whether the new air flow sensor is leaking or damaged. Make sure that the direction of the air intake on the flow housing is correct before and during installation.)
4. After completing the installation, reconfirm that the mass airflow sensor is not loose and the pipeline is not leaking. Reconnect the negative wire removed before, and confirm that the ECU data has been reset and restored to the original state.
5. Ignition confirmation. Please do not start the vehicle immediately after the installation. Wait for 60 seconds after the vehicle is powered on, and then start the vehicle.
(1) If it is a key-started vehicle, please turn the car key to the "ACC" position. Wait for 60 seconds after the vehicle is powered on, and then start the vehicle;
(2) If it is a one-button start vehicle, please press the one-button start button (without stepping on the brake pedal). Wait 60 seconds, and then step on the brake pedal to start the vehicle.
